BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: In this week-long workshop students will learn computational art-making and programming by creating two-dimensional art works. We will use the Processing/Java environment. By using a graphical approach, students instantly “see” the effect of their code, step-by-step, thus allowing learning programming in a more intuitive and fun way than traditional abstract approaches. Students should have a desire and the curiosity to learn how to code and interest to make computational art.
