CAMP FACILITIES: The independent, non-profit Museum of Flight is one of the largest air and space museums in the world, attracting more than 500,000 visitors annually. The Museum's collection includes over 150 historically significant air- and spacecraft, as well as the Red Barn, the original manufacturing facility of The Boeing Co., the original papers of the Wright brothers, and the one-of-a-kind NASA Space Shuttle Trainer, used to train every space shuttle astronaut since the inception of the program.

Among the most popular exhibits at the Museum are the world's first fighter plane, the first jet Air Force One, the prototype Boeing 747, the West Coast's only Concorde, and the world's fastest aircraft, the Blackbird spy plane. More than just an attraction, however, the Museum is a hub of science, technology, engineering, and math education, serving over 150,000 participants each year through on-site and outreach programs and the Museum's aviation and space library and archives are the largest on the West Coast, holding more than 1.4 million images. The Museum of Flight is accredited by the American Associations of Museums, and is an affiliate of the Smithsonian Institution.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: The Aerospace Camp Experience (ACE) has exciting programs and activities, caring and knowledgeable staff, and a world-class museum to explore. Only with The Museum of Flight can campers launch rockets, create aircraft, experience microgravity, build robots, and pilot actual airplanes. If you have an inquiring mind and want to have fun this summer exploring aviation and aerospace, ACE is the camp for you. Campers are welcome at ACE regardless of gender, race, national origin, or religious affiliation. Contact the ACE Coordinator concerning campers with special needs or physical restrictions prior to registration. The Museum of Flight strives to accommodate all children within the constraints of our facility and our programs. The Aerospace Camp Experience is the recipient of the ACA Gordie Hamilton Award for Excellence in Camping Programming. The Aerospace Camp Experience is accredited by the American Camp Association (ACA).

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: ACE Counselors Apprentice Program is a program where participating students will learn about all aspects of a summer camp. Each apprentice will spend time interacting with campers, developing programs, and assisting with other camp-related duties. Apprentices will also have the opportunity to participate in trips during the summer. ACE Counselors in Training must complete one week of training. After completing training, Apprentices must volunteer a minimum of 35 hours during the summer but will be able to create their own volunteer schedule.

CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: This year we hope to offer an amazing ACE experience to as many campers as possible. Camperships are available thanks to the generous donations from Southcenter Rotary and other supporters of ACE. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: The mission of US Performing Arts Camps is to promote and develop the growth of performing artists in America.

US Performing Arts Camps is considered the premier top tier summer program for training young people in the arts. Our programs are taught by the university or college departments and their professional faculty and guest professionals in their fields.

US Performing Arts offers programs in Animation, Computer Animation, Costume design, Directing, Film-making (including 4K High-definition), Dance, Hip Hop Dance, Musical Theater, Play-writing, Sit Com Writing, Sit Com Acting, Singing, Voice-over work for animation, movies and games, and we started the first College Audition Boot Camps for high school students.

CAMP FACILITIES: Bethaday Community Learning Space (BCLS), the home of TAF, is a LEED-Silver certified multipurpose building, located in beautiful Lakewood Park in the White Center Area. BCLS is surrounded by trees, a small lake and fabulous picnic areas.

We offer a multipurpose room with a full kitchen, four technology-filled classrooms for our youth (equipped with SMART boards, A/V systems, and laptops for student use), an academic support room and plenty of outdoor space. There is ample parking and the building is ADA compliant.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: TAF campers learn cool, cutting-edge STEM skills while engaging in fun, hands-on projects.

Each session will feature a field trip to a museum, research site, or learning space that relates to the focus of the week.

Each camp will also include a culminating event at which campers will show off their completed projects.

CAMP FACILITIES: Our classes are designed so that students can learn technology skills while engaged in fun and interesting projects. Our goal is to have students learn how to do some amazing things with technology in a supportive and fun atmosphere.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Each TechKnowHow® camp features a teaching team of two instructors. Instructors are often school teachers during the year, or professionals who work in the technology field or college students, often majoring in education or computer science. All instructors complete training, both in the specific course work which they will teach, as well as in general student interaction and camp management. Although our staff has varied backgrounds, all share an interest and ability in teaching technology skills to students! Our average camper:staff ratio is 10:1.

CAMP FACILITIES: We have a large, green campus in town with new dormitory with full kitchen and dining facilities. We are affiliated with the University of Washington Friday Harbor Laboratories, located on a 484-acre biological preserve.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Salish Sea Sciences: Field & Lab Science is a 26-day residential program in marine science and maritime ecology operated in conjunction with the University of Washington Friday Harbor Laboratories, the SeaDoc Society, the US National Parks Service, and Northwest Maritime Center. Activities include interactions with scientists, data-collection on the FH Labs' research vessel Centennial, a 5-day/4-night longboat voyage, and exposure to an array of research disciplines, projects, methodologies, and data sets in a variety of island habitats and lab settings. A typical day might include data collection with FH Labs or US National Parks investigators and lessons in scientific drawing and data analysis. Most evenings, contributing scientists and participants come together for conversation and presentations over a home-cooked dinner.

Starting this summer, Salish Seas Sciences will offer a 14-day scientific diving course designed specifically for high school divers who already have their recreational certification. Upon completion of all requirements, students will be certified as an American Academy of Underwater Sciences (AAUS) Scientific Diver and can receive Verification of Training at their present and future institutions. Diving course students will reside with a cohort of Salish Sea Sciences students, investigators, and instructors participating in related programs.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Camp TechWise offers 5-day computer day-camps in Seattle for kids ages 8 - 16. Each participant will choose ONE of the primary topics at the time they enroll. Once at camp, campers can decide to stay focused on their "primary topic / project" or jump into any number of secondary workshops which are offered throughout each day. Secondary topics include subjects such as programming, networking, website development, gaming, and also outside recreation and sports. Our customizable computer camp program serves the needs of both the Techy-kids who want full-immersion and also those who want a program with a balance of several topics and/or recreation periods. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: As fun as camping, canoeing and crafts combined, Zeno Math Camps keep the math momentum rolling all year long. How? Campers are guided through an adventure of math games, activities and experiments that reveal the fun of math! Zeno’s one-week, all inclusive, half day camps are designed to increase math competency in fun and exciting ways.

Adventures in Arrgh-rithmetic: Campers work on pirate-themed activities focused on measurement, geometry, time, navigation, technology, number sense, and problem solving. K-2nd grades

Art & Architecture: Campers create their own buildings and other objects while learning how geometry affects art, architecture, and city design. 3-5th grades

Ancient Secrets of Numbers: Campers work together to discover the history of counting, how numbers were developed and the origins of ancient number systems. 3-5th grades

Future Investor Clubs of America summer camp programs are designed to be a top quality, positive comprehensive learning experience that students will never forget. Therefore, FICA has incorporated carefully designed Financial Field Trips TM to enhance the students experience and learning process.

FICA members who have completed the Basic (BFIT), Advanced (AFIT) and or Executive Financial Intelligence Training (EFIT) curriculum receive Certificates of Completion and are eligible to participate in many fun, exciting and informative events.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: All Future Investor Clubs of America summer camp instructors are Certified Financial Intelligence Trainers(CFIT) having completed our training programs. Each CFIT has years of business, education, executive, investing and or financial services experience. In addition to industry experience, our instructors must complete 40 hours of training on how to teach each of our BFIT, AFIT, EFIT, IFIT and LFIT curriculum's.

Future Investor Clubs, Chapters and Centers are eligible to select lead teachers and instructors to attend CFIT training programs. Individuals completing our instructor comprehensive training programs earn the designation of Certified Financial Intelligence Trainer TM (CFIT). Business and financial industry executives, managers, investment advisors, commodity/stock brokers, traders and other professionals are scheduled as guest speakers during the camp training week.

OTHER CAMP INFO: Depending on your camp length of stay, approval and city selection, students will visit such places as: Downtown Business Districts; Investment and Community Banks; Commodity/Stock Market Brokerages, Angel Investor Networks; Federal Reserve Bank; Venture Capital Networks; Fortune 500 Companies; Private Equity Corporations; Hedge & Mutual Fund Corporations, Insurance Corporations; Corporate Meetings; College/University Business School Tours; Investment Trading Companies, Commodity/Stock Exchanges and more!
